The #Norlite incinerator in Cohoes is the only one of its kind that was permitted by DEC to burn hazardous waste in all of New York. It's been doing it for decades, expelling toxic dust into the atmosphere into surrounding communities, and despite amounting several violations, the plant continues to operate.
