SUMMARY:Oregon Environmental Rights Day To Engage
DESCRIPTION:Everyone needs clean air\, clean water\, and a stable climate to survive and thrive. OCERA is a nonpartisan\, grassroots effort dedicated to securing this fundamental right in the Oregon Constitution. \nTuesday\, September 24th\, OCERA is organizing an in-person opportunity to learn more and engage with legislators who need to hear your voice. While allowing virtual participation for some legislator meetings\, OCERA’s goal is to bring as many people as possible to the State Capitol to share the reasons why they care about protecting everyone’s rights to a healthy environment by passing a referral for a constitutional amendment. \nThe agenda will include a briefing covering the purpose of the amendment\, major talking points and Frequently Asked Questions first thing in the morning. Meetings will be scheduled with legislators and there may be opportunity to attend hearings in select committees. \nAll from Oregon are welcome to join. Please register here.
